Jul 31, 2006 · Have just completed a temporary install of the DVD navigation in my A6. Just thought I'd share. My A6 has the MMI High (color screen) and Multifunctional Steering Wheel but not much else when it when it comes to options. I bought the DVD Navigation unit on EPAY. Also bought a GPS antenna with HAve tried to go into the settings to reset but cannot get past the message noted above 'telephone not installed'. There are odd comments on google that say a new control unit is required at £500 from Audi which is horrendously expensive. a) can it be rebooted or similar or can a replacement be sorted at a fraction of £500?
